A bit about me

Born on the east coast, raised in the south. I've got a love for good food, good people, and good conversation. I've always strived to be well-rounded, from the times when I would balance Mythbusters with Tom and Jerry to today as I spend time with photography and cookie recipes. Few things are beyond my scope of curiosity, and I love gaining new insights by hearing from others and sharing my thoughts.

My primary motivating belief is that there is never a point where we are incapable of doing our best. Whatever challenges someone may be facing, they have the ability to choose.

A bit about Quatschy

Quatschy is a bizarre word. I'd bet you'd never heard it before. If you say otherwise then you're a liar. I made it up.

In German, "quatschen" is a verb that means "to chat". Instead of calling this page "chatty," I figured I'd call it something a bit catchier that meant more to me. Therein lies Quatschy's conception.

Reflecting on my life up until now, I always think of this line of wisdom: unto whom much is given, much is required. I'm just trying to give back and improve the world through my writing, whether it be something funny, deeply researched, or motivational. I hope you get something out of it. I appreciate you joining me for the ride, even if you're only here until the next station.
